You see its the opposite of hallelujah.

The opposite of you. 

You don't know because it passes right through you. 

You simply don't know what I'm going through. 

You refuse to look at yourself truthfully. 

You judge to quick, to harsh, too much. 

You're stuck inside a fantasy,  a fairy tale, your mind. 

Stop trying to tell me how my story is going to end. 

Only I hold the pen. 

Because my world is the opposite of hallelujah.

The opposite of you. 

Can you really not see it? 

You're blind eyes can't focus. 

Come down from your safe place, your cloud,  your escape. 

And look at me. 

Look at me and tell me you don't mean this. 

But do tell me about the opposite of hallelujah.

The opposite of you. 

Then maybe, just maybe someday we can say hallelujah.
