Honey
Oh honey
How it’s funny
Not so long ago
I couldn’t stand on my own two feet
Oh honey
How it’s funny
I lied to myself
In hopes to be the one to stay
Oh honey
How it’s funny
I’ve been playing make believe
For far too long now
But what’s really funny
Is these words
The songs I wrote with tears down my shirt
The paintings pressed with sorrow and emptiness
Will be the great works of the world
