Eternity
We say there’s something past
And whether there is or isn’t
Is not to test
Because for all days
There will be a tomorrow
Maybe of darkness or maybe of light
But time goes on, that is a fact
For me, the question is not God
The question is not of awe
The question is not a question
It is a fraud
Because there is no inquiry about it
The tragedy of this life is the eternity of it
If there be a Heaven
If there be a Hell
It won’t matter where we dwell
Because there will be no farewell

I was always very terrified of the idea of forever. I couldn't sleep because it really scared me. So, I thought I would describe what was so terrifying about all of this and express it through poetry. Maybe someone else had the same feelings and they could connect to my poem.
