Am I Next?
December 4, 2014
A day like any other: sun shines, clouds move across the sky, a breeze flows over my thick coat,
I continue forward with my herd.
1...2...3...4...
Though the atmosphere around me does not feel safe,
the crowd full of furry mammoths narrows.
1...2...3...
Are they leaving at their own will?
Or disappearing by the hands of evil?
1...2...
Fear takes over my mind and body.
I stay calm and continue forward.
1...
I am now alone,
am I next?
