-Far-
I touch you
you touch me
but I feel cold, on my finger.
I can see you
but not smell you,
speak to you
but not hear you.
You are so close,
but so far
I know that is it
between us
but to break it... means to kill you.
I have only to
wait.
What is distance, above all?
Something but 10 months,
instead of 7 years of disgrace?

I'm a exchange student in America, and my girlfriend lives in Italy. It's very difficult for us to stay together... but we really love each other, and I hope we will do it. This is a poem about us, and 10 months is the period of time that I'm spending here.
I'm really loving the experience, but I miss her.
