Crouched beneath the swaying weeds
Glaring through thick brown eyes
Claws buried in the soil
Low, muffled growls lost between the roots
Humid winds brush across wild, orange fur
Loose, black stripes disappearing in the background
Motionless, Captivating, Patient
One slick breath
One proud pounce
Crashing onto the prey
Claws thrashing
Teeth clamping
Victory for one
The end for another
