Ode To My Dress
I stood in front of my closet
ready to rip my hair out because
I didn’t know what to wear to the party.
I came across you babe
while penetrating;
piercing from left to right.
You had my attention as teenage
boys focus on call of duty, everything else
was irrelevant.
I wiggled to slip you on
I thought you didn’t
fit, but I managed a way.
I stood in front
of the mirror,
infatuated with the way you
hugged my waist
as if you were
a frightened child
gripping a mother.
This dress made of
golden thread
I look
heavenly!
Who knew
a dress I bought last year
would be the ideal fit .
Who knew
I repeat my self!
Sparkles tickle me.
I could not let you walk out on me
I would refuse to give in that easy
I would put on a fight for you
knowing you will not
be under
my possession
because all good things must leave someday.
