Got to run,
need to flee,
run faster and faster.
Waves of terror closing in,
I can't seem to find myself.
Don't want to sound fake,
don't want to be branded,
don't need to pretend.
Don't label me 'Attention Seeking'.
You don't know me.
My life's not bad,
not scarring,
not painful,
normal.
Yet here I am,
Feeling so sad,
unexplained,
got to run.
Need to flee.
Running faster and faster,
never ceasing to drown
