No One Set Me up for This

No one explained that drowning feels like.
When the lungs fill up with water.
No one explained what suffocating feels like.
How exhausting it is when everyone around you is breathing,
and you don't know what air tastes like.
No one explained that pills leave a bitter taste,
but asking for a refill tastes even worse.
No one explained that swimming in Lexapro
is the closest to breathing that you'll get.
