Fall is upon us
Leaves turning from green to bright colors
Trees turning slim and pale
Fresh smell of leaves fills the air
Leaves rustling in the wind
and falling to the ground
Kids jumping into piles of leaves
enjoying the season that is to stay
Weather goes chill, the sign of winter in the making
people with jackets to shelter their warmth
Birds flocking to the south
Looking for a warm place to stay
Though the fall is full of beauty,
It is a sign of death and decay
That the changing of colors
opens the door for winter’s arrival
The night draws quicker than before
As the long days go faster
Winter slowly creeps up on us
seasons come and pass
For fall, i’ll wait another year
