There are countries who ask for help.
We respond to their yelp.
As we go in over our head
Soon our country will be dead.
As debt piles up so high
All we can do is cry.
On the home front people are homeless
We give so much it’s hard to comprehend.
As we try to make excuses for our generosity
Others laugh at our stupidity.
