When It Hurts
When it hurts you may cry
When it hurts you may lie
And say that it doesn’t
But that doesn’t make it true
So I stand here today
Watching people cry, cry away
For their losses that they
Wish didn’t go but stayed
Where they have gone
We do not know
We love them so
For even though some may not have liked them we did
And we may not know why they’ve gone
But they had to for some reason
For us to remember them
To remember them as a gem
When it hurts you may cry
But do not lie

Don't lie and say that it does not hurt when something bad happens. Be honest and truthful. What goes around comes around...
