Lost & Found
His laugh is scattered in the wind,
He seldom smiles for the world to see.
Like the fog coming out of his mouth on a cold, windy night,
Like the vapor of uneven waves, tossing and turning with all their might.
Cries and screams is all there is.
Emotionally tied to the world he lives.
Wishing for that day,
Dreaming of that time,
Craving that place where he'll find something worth the while.
Something that will free him from his invisible chains,
And will keep him standing in the rain.
That sight of delight.
That glory night.
That hour without pain,
When he sings without spite.
And when he looks back in the past,
He will see that it'll cast
Not pity, not remorse.
But something so much more.
He will feel in his heart, that it was worth hoping from the start.
