Come On Casper
So disappointing;
I'm alone.
I crack open my ribs;
Ghosts?
Welcome me!
Come on Casper,
Don't be shy.
We can skip into the sun;
we can feel our burning lungs.
I look at my pain and I smile;
it's a giddy grin.
I recommend sitting over there,
you can feel the opaque warmness
as they play with your hair.
Come on Casper,
Let's go play!
We can stay up all night!
We can find a shooting star,
and wish
the pain
to
stay.
Come on Casper,
our lives await!
You can't leave my house,
but that's okay.
I'll carry you in my ribs,
and you can peek out;
see what this world is all about.
It's okay if you weigh heavily,
you're my best friend;
never going away.
[scoliosis]
Come on Casper!
Come on!
Come on!
Come on!
So disappointing;
you're alone.
My ostracism isn't under a tombstone,
but one way or another:
it's so disappointing Casper,
so disappointing that we're all
alone.
