A Little Like Falling Asleep
Floating
across the water
is a little like
falling asleep.
it’s calm and peaceful.
and quiet
there’s no one there to
talk
aboout something
meaningless
or anyone
to bother me.
when
I
look up at the sky
and the clouds.
to see the wind erase
and create clouds
is relaxing.
but,
to float,
I
have to remember
that I
have to
stop
floating.
eventually.
but for
those few seconds,
it’s peaceful
and quiet
and I’m
happy.

Peeking into happiness is a little like trying to find yourself. Hard to do, but worth it.
