Paused
It’s warmer outside than the cold interior of your heart
The lies from you more sour than a sweet tart
I asked for your love forever but forever was just too long to ask
So now left in my hand I only a flask
I take a shot here and there
This pain is just too much to bare
I can’t take it anymore
My heart now feels poor
My heart went from whole to shattered
Nothing I said anymore even mattered
The pain you’ve done onto me
It makes me want to run and flee
You will never know how much pain you caused
You have now left my life paused
