Hate's Touch
  I can feel it
  Crying out in agony
  I beg for another chance
  I want to forgive
  The chains
  Encircling my wrists
  Biting into my skin
Keeping me in a dark place
I want to know how it is
  to dance with the butterflies
But I feel the wrath of the bees
  As they pierce me
  Again
And again
And maybe someday I will be able to remove the stingers
  Like thorns to the flesh
  Sharp and jagged
  Not minding where they hit
  Just caring to hit hard
  It is no other sound
  But that of fear
  It is no other mind
  But that of a monster
  It is no other feel
  Than that of hate
