Silent and alone she sat.
Every word of encouragement left unheard,
waves of exhausting pain drifted her heart out to the unknown.
Islands of promises left untouched,
floating lifelessly, aching for remembrance and attention.
She craved the simplicity of one single touch,
a glance from a bypasser.
Her beauty present, but not yet found.
A gem buried, hidden in the dark.
A treasure undiscovered.
