Modern World
The world I see?is different.
I see kids with houses
who would rather be
on the streets than
be at home.
I see kids with no home
who would rather be
in a home than on the streets.
Houses full of food,
that every night
throw away perfect food
and don't take a second thought.
I look in the alley way
and see kids dig through dumpsters
and when they find food
their eyes light up
with delight.
Some people in the world
that have a home or food
aren’t grateful for what
they have,
because there’s kids
and people
out there that don't
have what they have.
