The waves echo in the drift of the ocean’s current,
as the monochromatic colors seep onto the surface of the lofty beach.

The warmth of the grains disintegrate as the water swiftly laps the land,
swooshing slowly, but not all at once.

Swarming like a pack of seagulls scavenging for bread,
people hunt for a spot to lavish in the sun.

Multicolor blankets spread all across the sand with picnics in tow,
the necessities for an enjoyable day.

The blue sky streams in rays with the warm sun tingling every inch of my being,
filling me to the brim with happiness.

The sound of anticipation shrieks with laughter splashing in my ears, with radio music blaring in the background.

As time wanders the sun does too,
the earth grows cooler and the air begins to whisp.

People disperse as the cool sets in, like the way dandelion fuzz blows in the wind.

Low tide ripples kiss the land unhurriedly,
as if they are saying see you later.

The current calms the quarrelsome matters that had taken place,
as the sunset praises the art of the waves for another glorious day.
