See The Good
The world today is corrupted with war
There are terrorists stationed shore to shore
People are killing
The prisons are filling
We are all pointing fingers to find something to blame
Divorce is expected
Rape is okay
Girls only care about how much they weigh
Protection is forbidden
We are poverty ridden
We feel that nothing has the power to change
But wait.
We aren’t all bad
Are we?
The world today is filled with compassion
Serving others is some people’s passion
We all work together to deter a threat
Even though most of us have never even met
We care about the climate and protect the earth
We preserve endangered species, we see their true worth
We all come together to lessen the cost
We all stand together in times of great loss
Without the bad we wouldn’t know the good
All the sacrifice and love couldn’t be understood
We focus on “fixing” something that’s not broken
We ignore all the good and focus on the outspoken
What about the people who live just for charity
Who are selfless and caring their actions of brevity
There may be bad but with it we’re good
Instead of shouting and grieving and sulking we should:
Be happy be proud we are part of something great
We can all be successful despite all the hate
The world IS good
But it would be better
If we focused on the “Payer”
Instead of the “debtor”

As an answer to a very common question- "The world would be a better place if..." I wanted to create a more in-depth answer to this question. Instead of trying to change the world, we should try to change the way we see the world.
