what was she to do now?

what was she to do now?
when she gave way to the desire and want?
when she was alone in a crowded room?
when she is left standing out in the cold
while shivering, chattering, and stinging?
when the comfort she had was just silence?
when there was only static talking back?
when life moved all around yet time stood still?
i repeat, what was she to do now?
did she have to make just one choice from two?
roll over and admit defeat once more?
or, stand tall and proud saying, "This Is No More."
