Moments like this,
driving down the gloomy road
staring into solid yellow lines
and somber skies,
make me daydream
of the wavy ocean,
as I listen to the soft music,
in my ears,
for hours and hours

The sun hits my eyes
as I wake up in Myrtle Beach.
We arrived to our hotel,
with comfy bedrooms,
and soft pillows,
that feel like cotton
where I lay my head,
rest my eyes and
fall into a deep sleep.

Every dawn
the whistling sound
wakes me up, I
inhale the salty air
from my bedroom.
Relaxed and dazed,
I take a stroll,
the cold sand
beneath my feet,
as I fantasize
about the sunrise
up in the sky.

A huge buffet
fulfilled with
crab cakes and fish,
brought the
buttery shrimp scampi
to my mouth.
I reunite with
family members
as we come together
and bless the food
that we are about
to receive
this evening.
