Watching from the branch by his nest

Rests and golden eagle looking over the river

It seems like forever he has been perched there

Where he looks on the river i cannot tell

Like a starting bell went off he flys off his branch

Floating over the river on a breeze

Swoops down onto the river and grabs a fish with ease

Like a great hero he flys back to his nest

With one call wakes up others from a rest

Black and yellow beaks arise

Then i saw the young ones eyes

They lurch for the fish and start on there dinner

While the golden hero goes back to his perch

From there he begins his search again
