I’m sorry…
I’ve been keeping secrets
Hiding the truth
And lying to protect myself
To procrastinate the inevitable discovery.
I wish it didn’t have to be this way
Hiding every time I speak
Every time I even think.
I wish it didn’t have to be this way
Seeing you
So close
Right there
And keeping hushed.
I wish it didn’t have to be this way,
I wish I wasn’t me…
