Resolutions
If pain can come in all shapes and forms then so must its solutions. For every bit of strength I hold I will always need resolutions. Friends and counselors move me along, but they don’t know how to say the things that only time can tell. Along the road I am met with mini parents: uncles, aunts, sisters, even my weirdo older brother. They don’t realize how broken my wrongful hopes left me, or how flawlessly they glues me back together. I say flawless with the knowledge that I will always carry this in my heart; it is with a raised chin that I tell you that that really doesn't matter. Pain can come in all shapes and forms, but so does its solutions. And for every bit of strength I hold, I have made double that with resolutions.

This peom is originally from a set of three poems I did for a reseach project at school. My selective topic was poems to teach about how abandonment affects children and the solutions. This is my favorite but I'm going to submit the others too. I got a 100 on the project by the way :) It was one of my teachers ideas to submit it.
