Where I'm From...
I am from a long line of hard workers
From a long line of champions
I am from long days in the saddle
From tipped barrels
And missed calves
From arena lights and cheering crowds
I am from middle of the night drives to the next rodeo
From traveling partners that become your best friends
I am from knee-deep mud or rock hard ground
I am from hours of practice to reach perfection
I am from sweat and blood and tears
From gold buckle dreams
And thousands of dollars down the drain
From the drive inside that keeps you wanting the next run
From the adrenalin rushes
From a dream that pumps through the blood
Of everyone who pulls that resistol down
From an extended family full of ropers and bronc riders
I am from the heart and soul of rodeo
