Depression
Nestled in the crevasses of my bones
  absorbed into the bloodstream
  woven into my tendons
  its there
  alive
  well
  comfortable
  at home
  I can feel it
  like tiny needles
  holding me open
like a frog spread out on a dissection table
  limbs pinned down
while emotional pain spills out, at the most inconvenient of times
  salty blurred vision is daily
  crippling guilt
  on edge
  caring too much
  not caring at all
  not caring at all
  not caring at all.
