the sun rises each
morning in your eyes,
a splitting image of a
beautiful composition.
With the blazing
light comes the
constellations of treasure
roaming free.
i found the oceans screaming
through me
like cries of desperation
reaching
out from the mouth
sheltering my own
with barbedwires 
i attempt
catching the words
with butterfly
nets before they
begin to escape
like inmates climbing the
wire fence of my throat
but I’m always too slow for
fluttering winged words.
