Battlefield

Do you know what it is like?

To be picked up.

To be beaten.

To be laughed at.

All because you are gay

Do you know what it is like?

To be called names like

faggot or transie.

All because of your sex prferences.

Everyday is like a battlefield

to fight for who you are.

To keep yourself going with

the decided life God gave you.

Taking as many bullets,

bits and bits of yourself

starts to fall off until they

render you to nothing.

Do you know what it is like?

To be on the edge with the

pills, knife, gun, bridge,

rope, or the water.

Do you know what it is like?

To be cornered everyday.

To be ganged on

while others turned a blindeye.

Why must you fight

to be accepted for

who you are and the life

that God has given you?

Why do you have to die

all because people don't accept

you as a person who likes the

same sex or feeling like you were

giving the wrong gender at birth?

Do you know what it is like?

Gripping onto your last bit of life

only to find out that you are

now facing death.
