When writing the story of your life, don’t let anyone else hold the pen.

I wonder what death thinks of me
I hear the thumping of my victims’ heart
I see the desperation in their eyes
I want them to be afraid
I am Fear
I pretend to leave, but i'm gone only temporarily
I feel pride when I crush their sanity
I touch their minds with my fingers of derision
I worry one may overcome my grip
I cry when someone is strong
I am Fear
I understand that not all will be affected by me
Though I say that they will
I dream of who I will strike next
I hope they can forgive me and my evil ways
I AM FEAR

The world is full of obvious things which nobody by any chance ever observes- Sherlock Holmes

I really like this poem. It's very interesting and gives an interesting spin on acts and feelings. Fear is speaking which is what comes before death arrives, just momentarily. I can see how fear can live and be the partner in crime to death. Very intriguing poem, I like it.
