Eyes gaze shut
The window shatters, hearts cry
But I stand still
Unimpressed as
Lightning charges up and down
Down to hell, up to me
I cry,
“This is it?”
The world shrinks in my palm
A grain of sand breaking my ocean
Sweet, melted blue covers me
I sink
The blue turns black
The lightning is dulled
The sky and sea merge
The earth goes on
Without me.
