My Bed
It is a great big cloud,
floating lower than the rest.
It is a mess of blankets and pillows,
begging to take a nap.
It is a time machine,
taking me to the future as I rest my head.
It is my happiness,
bringing me peaceful dreams.
It is my battery,
taking away my tiredness and replacing it with joy.
It is my sanctuary,
hiding me from the outside world.
I will make it every morning, with soft blankets and plush pillows
I will wash it’s sheets and pillowcases, so you never get worn out
After a long day, I can always count on it to comfort me
It’s my bed; my safest place
