The Ocean

It’s either turquoise,
or wild.
It clashes with
the huge rocks,
over and over,
as the waves have,
infinite,
commanding,
freedom.
It amazes me
that it could be us
strolling through sand
happily-
impressing no one as
we dance,
wildly,
lively. As
I breathed in the
salty air, staring
into your eyes:
I love you I love you-
makes we wonder if
you feel the same way?
I don’t see it
through your reflection
as I float underwater
to a different world,
where nothing. Nothing
matters as life goes on
