Baby Sister
November 4, 2014

                                I loved my sister
For the way that she loved me
Always claiming my attention
And looking up to me
As young girls often do to big sisters
She was my baby
My heart

from the time i met my sister i have always felt the weight of her eyes on me, watching my every move. always appreciated the burden of being her role model. they tell me how much she asks for me, and my heart breaks every time i have to leave her. from being an itty bitty baby to being a tall blonde beauty that now looks down to meet my eyes, my sister will always be irreplaceable in my heart. i will never stop feeling the pull of the bond we share, even if only one strand of dna, instead of two. different mothers, different upbringings, different lives, but hearts the same.
