For Cash
“Meow”
Oh no, he’s here.
Saw the shadows, got engrossed
His huge stomach jiggling as he runs.
Well, not really runs, more of a
Fast speed walk.
Oh no, oh no no no no.
I’ve opened the barrier;
Expeled all the obsticals in his course.
I have practically lit up a neon sign,
saying, “Right this way foul monster!”
I’ve. Left. The. Door. Open.
My friend, oh poor Alyssa.
Theres tears swimming in her eyes.
She fears what’ll happen next,
Her skin already flaring up.
Think quick, what to do?
“me-OOWR!” I soccer-kick the beast back.
All the way across the hall he sails out
whilst I slam and lock the door.
Safe another day.
