I've Learned...
I’ve learned that growing up,
isn’t all it’s cracked out to be
I’ve learned that
It’s okay to make mistakes,
as long as you learn from them
I’ve learned to put myself out there
and to jump for opportunities
Instead of waiting
for them to come to me
I’ve learned that
it’s okay to be yourself
and to take pride in who you are
I’ve learned that you have to work hard
for things
and that not everything is going
to be handed to you
I’ve learned the hard way
how harsh this world can be
But I’ve also learned the easy way
how welcoming and great
it can be
I’ve learned that surrounding yourself
with good people makes life
10x easier
I’ve learned that people change
Sometimes for the better,
and sometimes for the worst
I’ve learned that sometimes
things happen that you
have no control over,
whether you like it or not
I’ve learned how hard
it is to do what’s right
or what you want because
they aren’t always exactly
the same thing
I’ve learned about myself,
the person I am,
and the person I want to be
