Pandora's Box
The pain I feel is unbearable.
It consumes me, makes me feel
Like death yet I am alive.
My life is a never-ending cycle
Of suffering and then hope
That everything will be okay.
My world is an emotional rollercoaster,
With every high there is a low chasing behind it.
Then I felt peace. My lid creaked as she opened it
Releasing the evils, purifying my soul.
I was at peace, at ease, free.
But it did not last long.
She opened me again, and plunged her hand inside
Taking away my happiness, my hope.
I was left empty, vacant, and void.
