Clocked In Black
Darkness surrounding the noise,
Silence befalls the pack
Out of the darkness comes a shreek.
Light blind us to our knees
Screams now fill the void.
Blue, red, blue, red, blue repeating
In patterns of light and noise
Cold, dusty,numb,bland
Creaks open the door
Man in white looking solem
Words spoken but non heard,
Sleepless night begin with no end in sight.
Peace is his only friend,
Eternity at peace.
School, conversations about the day,
Meetings, counselors, grief, grey.
Misery fills the air
Thick like a fine dust.
Days, weeks, months, years.
The pain has not dispersed,
Only rest will help this soul
Trapped between two sides.
Rest now, we shall see each other again one day.
