parents say they’ve been there, they say they understand
but they dont know what passes through our hands

the depression we go through
the things we are pressured to do

the things kids do to seem cool
and how hard it is at school

i used to get bullied in the elementary
but now i’m on top, like somewhat presidentially

yet i’m not mean to anyone
i’m mostly nice to everyone

but social media has rumors and people that like to talk
its time for them to stop, take a walk

i try my best to be my best
try and get goods like the rest

but parents don’t realize the stress
the school work that we do is a mess

i ask questions and don’t get it
so i am done forget it
