Fading away
I could almost remember your soft touch.
The essense of your strong cologne still lingers around my room.
Thinking about your presence filled my beating heart,
You took my fragile broken body,
then put it back together
making me whole.
You were the proprietor of my cold, pounding heart.
You engrossed me with your beautiful words,
Your beautiful lies.
You made me look at life in a at a new perspective,
Making me forget about my worries.
I saw the good in everyone,
and neglected the bad.
But that was the conflict.
Because I never saw it coming when you broke my heart.
You spoke these hideous words,
Yet they were the hideous truth.
I was falling and you saved me,
Only to push me off a higher cliff.
You set a fire in my lungs,
and it was beyond repair.
The only thing I felt for days were tears stroll down my delicate pale face.
Which you once said was the most god dammed beautiful thing you'd ever laid your eyes on.
The memories of you haunted me,
and they continued to for weeks.
My love for you was stronger than anythinf in this expounding world.
The pain never stopped,
It went on for months.
But once the pain started to fade,
My heart went from red to grey.
