The fresh smell of sea salt
The clean, white sails billowing
Splashes of sea
Dotting my skin
Our anchor lowers
Rattling chains
The boat sways
With each roll of a wave
A gust of wind cools the warmth
That has settled on me
Scattered salt-water droplets
Shimmer in the sunlight
Chains rattle
The anchor recoils
We set sail
Coasting along the smooth sea
Navy ocean against the white boat
White boat against the still blue sky
