Tomato Soup

A bright red circle surrounded by sleek walls of porelain.
I dip my spoon in, but it is immediately absorbed by an ocean of red.
Steam rolls off the top like a veil, and I am forced to cool it down as not to burn myself.
I drink slowly, making a long, immature slurping noise, just because I can.
The taste and smell combine into a sweetly tart tang of tomatoes with a salivating scent.
