Imperfectly Perfect
You’ve hit a fork in the road.
But which way is right?
Should you turn around and go back?
Or take a new chance?
You decided to take that chance.
Now you’re here with your head held high,
but not too high so you can still
see where you’re going.
You’re ready for new adventures.
The past has been one crazy ride, but you’ve
realized you can
move on.
It’s time to let go of the old memories
and time to make new ones.
Ones that you’ll remember forever.
You’ll look back one day and smile,
thinking how silly it was to stop your world for
that.
It’s time to be happy, with the amazing people
you have in your life.
You’ve taken a huge, wonderful, step in
a new direction.
No more worries for the things you can’t change.
You smile as you realize who you are,
and that it’s ok to be different from others.
Don’t let your past define you.
You realize you are who you are and
no one can change that.
You’ll be thankful you made that chance.
New memories.
New attitude.
New adventures.
Here’s to a new beginning.
