I come from
I come from
We come from
We come from a dark, and shattered history
Of hate and anger, raised by Hitler’s army.
Of depression and sorrow, in the wakes of Attila the Hun.
Of despair and agony, after the attacks on the twin towers.
But….
With these times of darkness, someone shined a light so bright,
To break the darkness.
In these times of dark, we saw the light
Of compassion and courage, when the allies exterminated a problem.
Of fortitude and will, when the Chinese built the great wall, to keep out a problem.
Of honor and valor, when we mobilized and took care of a problem.
In all instances, a clear and unpredictable problem emerged, darker then a moonless night,
And through the light, they all toppled, like a tower of leaves in the autumn wind.
We come from…
I come from…
The light…
But we all have an internal battle,
A battle going on inside us all.
Dark and light.
Good and evil.
The side that will win, is the side you feed.
