Sitting in Wendy’s
having some family fun,
eating chicken on a bun,
and a frosty as cold as ice.
Dad capturing memories
of my sister, nephew, and I.
My nephew’s the mess king,
sticking his fingers in my frosty,
that is very costly,
getting everything all sticky.
Click! Dad takes the picture
as I yell “NO”
Carter jumps,
and puts his head down low,
but still giggling
with a bright smile on his face.
