Another Day

An obnoxious, exasperating sound radiated throughout my bedroom
and had stopped as I slammed my hands on the “snooze” button
It was another day,
another morning.
Filled with endless hours of homework,
and struggling to stay awake in class.
The repetition of the mundane days was vexatious.
As I looked outside the window,
the flowers had bloomed,
the rabbit that hid behind the bushes was nowhere to be seen,
and the sun was brighter than the day before.
As I pondered to myself,
was it really just another day?
