Without You
You are there,
still since 15 years
even if I was mean to you.
You always try to keep me away
from the wrong things
and want to see me
happy.
Sometimes you’re my savior
from my downfall in the
next maths exam
or the one who helps me out
when I messed up.
Without You,
I’d have my own clothes,
instead of yours to borrow.
I know you’re looking
for your sweaters sometimes
and then you finally find them
on me,
but I just can’t stop
wearing them.
Without You
the house is quiet
on a saturday,
when you’re not screaming,
because your favorite soccer team
made a goal.
Without You
there’s no good music
in the car
no Chocolate
for the crime on TV
on sunday.
Now, I’m here and you are there,
4.900 miles away,
doing what you always do
just that you know:
I will miss you until we meet again.
