if we girls
decided to take off
the powder
and the shadow
and the liner
and the mascara
and the blush
and the gloss
and
-God Forbid-
swapped out
our pretty perfect faces
for Plain Janers?
What would happen
if we girls
traded minishorts for sweatpants,
croptops for long shirts
and dainty heels and flats for slippers and booties?
What if
we girls
stopped the Fake
and just became...
Us?
What would happen then?
