You see me as weak,
know me as kind,
you hear me as quiet,
you treat me as you would a porcelain doll,
careful not to break me,
give me a helping hand,
even when you're the one on crutches,
at least that is how you act to my face.

To love is to be vulnerable; Triumph is born out of struggle; We notice shadows most when they stand alone in the midst of overwhelming light.

This is amazing. This is absolutely, beautiful and raw. It just has so much, emotion and power in it. It may be short, but it's still powerful and honest. I can connect to this, so much. Having a difference is hard, and I have been treated differently because of that. So, I can connect. You have such a talent and greatness and light in you; and you're an amazing and wonderful and talented writer and person. It's true. :) Believe that, because it really is and I sincerely believe that. This is just wonderful to me, your poem. Thank you so much, my friend! For sharing this. :)
